Anthony Olobo Odur, a son of the current Lango Paramount Chief of Lango Yosam Odur Ebii, has been appointed the new clan head of Atek-Omwonpel.
Olobo contested with three other people, including Lawrence Obel, who obtained 641 votes, Robert James Otim, who got 100 votes, and Charles Oyuku, who got 492 votes.
He was declared the winner after poling some 1296 votes by the chairperson of the Electoral Commission, James Wacha, during an election held on April 28th that attracted over 2500 clan delegates.
