Egyptian ENPPI Sporting Club Signs Uganda’s Derrick Kakooza

20-year-old Ugandan football youngster Derrick Kakooza has been signed by Engineering for Petroleum &Process Industries (ENPPI) sporting club which is one of the highest performing Clubs in Egypt.

Uganda’s talented young blood has completed his signing process to the petroleum club after agreeing on personal terms with the clubs.

ENPPI based in Cairo are seeking his internal transfer certificate so that they are able to feature for the club.

According to the team managers Kakooza is their fourth signing in the last month transfer window after bringing Montokheb El-Suez Bassem Adel,El-Dakhleya’s Reda El-Said,and Amr Marei to Petrosport.

According to Tala’at Youssef, Kokooza is the best choice according to the aim of the team stating that ENPPI seek to improve their sixteenth place in the Egyptian premier league, as they fight against their first relegation since getting promoted in 2002.

Forward Kakooza has been one of Uganda’s top talents in the past few years.

He was the top scorer of the 2021 U20 African Cup of Nations(AFCON) after scoring five goals which saw Uganda Cranes to a historic silver medal in their first ever appearance in the competition.
