Two people in Kole district have been arrested for allegedly tampering with the list of beneficiaries of the Parish Development Model.
The duo was arrested on the orders of Kole RDC Josephine Omara Olili after discovering that Bosco Okello, the PDM chairperson in charge of Okwerodot parish PDM Sacco, together with his son Joshua Enyang, had allegedly connived and included the names of non-members on the authentic list of beneficiaries.
Another suspect identified as Eric Owera, the parish sacco secretary, was also arrested and is currently being detained at Kole CPS pending an investigation into the allegations.
The arrest stemmed from the emergency meeting convened by RDC Omara Olili at Okwerodot sub-county headquarters following several complaints from PDM SACCO members.
Morris Alanya, the Council Speaker of Okwerodot Sub County, told RDC Omara during the meeting about complaints from members regarding the adulteration of the list of beneficiaries.
“Mama RDC, we had a few problems that we handled recently, but the new issue is that some people have included the names of non-members on the list of authentic beneficiaries without the approval of the group,” said Alanya.
The suspects are accused of incriminating two people who were not beneficiaries.
RDC Omara Olili warned PDM SACCO leaders against including names of non-beneficiaries on the list, describing it as illegal.

Well done Bobson and the RDC for the great role exhibition.
Most of the things you state happens to be supprisingly legitimate and it makes me wonder why I hadn’t looked at this in this light before. Your piece truly did switch the light on for me as far as this particular subject matter goes. However there is actually just one position I am not really too comfortable with and while I attempt to reconcile that with the core theme of your issue, permit me see what the rest of the readers have to point out.Nicely done.
