Lango has acquired another private university established with a strict focus to promoting innovations and research in the world of academia.
Established and licenced by the National Council for Higher Education, EBENEZER UNIVERSITY is a faith-founded institution of learning based in Lira City.
Located at Block 7, Plot 1237 Erute, Amuca, Lira-Kamdini Road, Lira City, Ebenezer University has currently opened opportunity to learners to join the institution for both January and May intake .
“Ebenezer University Lira is the premier institution of higher education in Uganda. Ebenezer is a biblical name for “Thus far the Lord has brought us.” Names matter. They tell the world who we are and what we stand for. They communicate ideas, values, and aspirations. They speak to the future even as they acknowledge the past,” reads in part a statement from the institution.
Richard Okullu, the proprietor of Ebenezer University, said the institution is licenced by NCHE to offer several academic disciplines, including medical records, public administration and management, information technology, business administration, and education, among others.
“We are offering diploma in medical records, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Public Administration, and Diploma in Education Primary, among others,” said the proprietor.
He adds that Ebenezer University aims to be a leading faith-based institution in innovative knowledge and research applications for sustainable development and livelihoods.
According to the proprietor, Ebenezer University strives to produce morally upright graduates who are innovative and leaders who promote a culture of service to the community.
