The Lira City Council Clerk, Theophilas Tibihika, has been confirmed dead after getting involved in a fatal accident on Monday, May 27, 2024.
The accident reportedly occurred around 6:30 a.m. along the Lira-Apac Highway.
Tibihika was driving Pick Up Double Cabin Hilux registration number UAM 450V heading to Kampala.
It’s is said the vehicle overturned severally at Akao, some 15km from Lira City after he had lost control.
Lira City Mayor, Sam Atul confirmed the incident and described the deceased as dedicated servant with immense contributions.
Traffic police have yet to issue a detailed statement regarding this fatal accident.
