Godly women are to know how to cook and manage a household, and many people believe that the quickest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and a woman who can cook good food for her family will forever attract love and happiness.
In the book of Proverbs 31:14–15, the bible says, “She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar. She rises while it is still night and provides food for her household and portions for her maidens.”
MP Linda Agnes Auma, the Lira district woman representative, believes that cooking food with a strong and hot saucepan like an aluminum plate soothes a woman’s heart and boosts her gesture to feed her family.
Early this week, MP Auma delivered several aluminum saucepans to thousands of households in Ogur Sub County to fulfill her promise made during the 2021 campaigns.
According to MP Auma, the distribution of these saucepans will cover all the sub counties within Lira district in a deliberate move to rekindle happiness in various homes.
“The distribution of aluminum saucepans holds significant importance, especially in rural areas like Ogur Sub County, where access to basic kitchen utensils can be limited. By providing these essential items,” said MP Auma.
She noted that these saucepans will empower women to cook food for their families with greater ease and efficiency adding that it will also largely contribute towards family stability.
This is the second time MP Auma is distributing items to her voters within a span of two months.
In February, MP Auma delivered several learning materials including mattresses, metallic boxes among others to children who had excelled in the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations within Lira district.
Last year, MP Auma launched the distribution of aluminum saucepans to thousands of households in Aromo Sub County.
