The source revealed that RDC Abdul has in recent weeks been traversing several villages, including churches, in Erute South County to conduct consultations for his political bid.
Recently, he visited St. Joseph Catholic Chapel, Ayamo, in Barr Sub County and donated 10 bags of cement to facilitate the ongoing construction. Prior to this, RDC Abdul visited the Holy Rosary Eucharist Centre, Gomi, in Agali Sub County, where he made a similar donation.
In addition to this, RDC Abdul has further embarked on various youth-engagement activities, including sports, where he donated balls to youths in Awiodyek Sub County.
In an exclusive interview with the Nile Times reporter, RDC Abdul recently said his recent visits were to guarantee political border acquaintance with the area.
He will have to battle with former Minister Sam Engola in the NRM party primaries.
In 2016, an attempt by RDC Abdul to become the Northern Uganda Youth Legislator failed. Since then, he has been conducting mobilization for the NRM party in the Office of the National Chairman until his deployment in Apac district.
